Our IT, InfoSec, Cyber Risk & Business Ops team is in the business of trust and reliability. We create, maintain and operate scalable technology and data solutions that deliver an exceptional experience for our internal & external customers. This requires a smart, highly collaborative team who can identify, investigate, and implement new technologies to continue securely scaling our global business.
This position
DocuSign is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Cyber Security team, a critical part of our world-class Information Security function. This is a highly technical, hands-on role that requires knowledge of a variety of security tools, technologies and experience protecting enterprise and production environments. Integrating various solutions for automation purposes or to enrich security data will be a key responsibility of the role.
You will have scope to shape and improve DocuSign's comprehensive threat-detection stack. As part of this team, you will design, develop, implement and maintain new innovative approaches and solutions for DocuSign's security infrastructure. Our goal is to build a fully automated detection and response system.

This position reports to the Manager Threat Engineering and Detection.
Design, develop, implement and maintain new innovative solutions for DocuSign's security infrastructure
Perform investigations on a wide variety of events to discover new detection capabilities and logging sources
Participate in large-scale security incidents
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent
8+ years of relevant work experience, including experience in responding to security incidents and software development
Background and experience in malware analysis, intrusion detection and threat intelligence
Programming experience in Python, C/C++ or Ruby
Experience integrating various systems for configuration or data enrichment, leveraging and interfacing common APIs (REST)
Experience with threat hunting, threat modeling and malware investigations
Experience in host and memory forensics for Windows, OSX and/or Linux
Preferred Qualifications
Solid understanding of security operations and experience working with incident response and threat analysis teams
Knowledge of SQL, relational databases and other data storage solutions, including NoSQL databases
Excellent communications skills, capable of working with cross functional technical and business teams and varying levels of management, in a professional manner
Strong background in both Windows and Linux/Unix systems
Strongly driven by learning new technologies
In-depth knowledge of the latest attack trends, tools and the threat landscape
Ability to research, architect and drive complex technical solutions, consisting of multiple technologies
MBA or advanced certifications preferred

This role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer and has the opportunity to work remotely or from our corporate headquarters in Seattle. Primary Responsibilities * Lead the design and implementation of cyber security initiatives, working to identify, manage and reduce information security risk * Assist in developing a security reference architecture and roadmap to help define the overall strategy of our Cyber Security organization * Advises on industry developments in business practice, technology, security issues and legislation that impacts the Company * Oversees and documents IT security aspects of the Enterprise Architecture, including vulnerability assessment, design, access, and authentication. * Works closely with other IT functional area architects and security specialists to ensure adequate security solutions are in place throughout all systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements. * Identify and develop new and innovative Cyber Security capabilities, working with internal IT and vendors as needed to bring them to life * Creates innovative security architectural approaches that utilize proper security controls to meet both ongoing and emerging threats incorporating industry best practices and tools. * Seeks to automate processes & controls to reduce manual tasks and speed analysis and response capability * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required * Minimum 10 years IT experience * Minimum 5 years of relevant information security experience * CISSP and/or CEH preferred * Proven experience in security architecture, demonstrating solutions delivery, principles and emerging technologies. * Advanced knowledge of security considerations of cloud computing, which include: data breaches, broken authentication, hacking, account hijacking, malicious insiders, third parties, APTs, data loss and DoS attacks. * Advanced knowledge and experience in identity and access management (IAM) – the framework of security policies and technologies that limit and track the access of those in an organization to sensitive technology resources. * Strong knowledge of technology risk management and experience with creating, effectively executing and monitoring information security controls * Demonstrated experience in designing, integrating and implementing systems security infrastructure * Strong ability to automate including systems thinking, strong scripting skills and/or Dev Ops capability * Deep experience and knowledge executing network, system and software vulnerability assessments including investigating malicious code, security tooling, threat hunting techniques, tools and methods * Experience and knowledge with monitoring, evaluating and maintaining systems and procedures to safeguard enterprise level networks, systems, databases and application architectures * Self-starter that actively displays a commitment to growing technical skills and discovering new and better ways to deliver technical security solutions * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to all levels of technical and non-technical leaders * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Exceptional communication skills including the ability to effectively negotiate, influence and collaborate with other teams to create a mutually beneficial solution * Understands and applies the company's key behaviors and core values * Ability to apply business knowledge to develop and deliver innovative, value-added improvements * Proven ability to operate and effectively communicate while under pressure; as well as the ability to manage a diverse workload and work under time constraints About Weyerhaeuser We sustainably manage forests and manufacture products that make the world a better place.
