Position Role/Tile: Senior Cyber Security Analyst
Location:Erie, PA.
Description:
The Senior Cyber Security Analyst (SCSA) is responsible for providing data security support and guidance to regions and affiliates. The SCSA will represent the Data Security Office on project teams and other Information Security (IS) initiatives and will work with other IS operations support departments to identify and recommend solutions on security-related issues. Provide hands-on security administration of a broad range of security duties and requires a high level of technical experience. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of design, engineering, analysis, research, testing and monitoring. The SCSA will also serve as the senior advisor to the Chief Information Security Officer, Cyber Security Manager andaffiliates. This is a technical position on the Information Security Team.
Qualifications
Education
Business, Cyber Security, Risk Management, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
CISSP is desired
Experience
Previous experience as an IT Security Analyst or related field as typically acquired during 6 to 8 years in a similar position
Three to five (3 to 5) years of healthcare information technology industry experience preferred
Previous experience providing cyber security support by planning, coordinating, integrating and synchronizing cyber defense and prevention activities
Proven experience ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal cyber laws and regulations
Significant experience creating comprehensive and accurate reports that are used to communicate Client's risk profile impact to peers and management
Knowledge
Thorough knowledge of information systems security concepts and current information security trends and practices including security processes and methods
General knowledge of Federal and State IS security and privacy-related regulatory requirements and laws
In depth knowledge regarding NIST, HIPAA, FIPS, and other recognized industry security standards and best practices
Detailed understanding of DLP and DLP technologies
Detailed understanding of data movement in a large healthcare system and typical healthcare business processes
In depth knowledge of cyber security solutions, policies and technologies
Understanding of the lifecycle of a network threat and network vulnerability exploitation in a healthcare environment
Working understanding of the anatomy of an attack

Position Summary Under moderate supervision, assists with the operation, implementation and analysis of ERIE's advanced technical security systems, including card access, physical security, digital video systems, proprietary databases, and fire/life safety systems for the Home Office and designated Field Offices. Duties and Responsibilities Administers the daily operation and implementation of the card access/security systems, digital video systems, access/ID badging system, all related proprietary security databases and fire/life safety systems. Assists senior staff in analyzing, recommending and implementing security system policies and procedures on all advanced technical security systems.Develops and maintains a strong knowledge of ERIE's technical security systems. Inclusive of all related procedures and practices.Assists senior staff with technical and administrative support to the Company and Department on all security system related initiatives and problem resolutions.Provides a first level tier of support for all end user and system related problems. Recommends procedures and solutions to address and correct system problems. Coordinates and implements problem resolution with senior staff.Assists with all operations related to The ERIE's intelligent fire alarm systems and fire systems at remote locations.Assists with all operations related to The ERIE's digital video system, including IP and wireless applications.Assists with the implementation and/or upgrading of all related technical security systems at the Home Office and designated field offices. Performs certain designated system upgrades as required.Assists with the development of training programs and applications for all related security and fire/life safety systems both at the Home Office and field office locations. As directed, provides consultation/training to employees and contractors regarding in place security systems and corresponding procedures.Assists with the audit, inspections and testing of all security and fire life safety systems both at the Home Office and designated field offices.
