Your contribution focuses on assisting Store Management with delivering excellent customer service through efficient expedition of all customer transactions and responding to customer needs appropriately.

These key job functions are achieved by.

  • Assisting management with register opening and closing procedures and monitoring cash handling, performing audits and end of shift drawer counts, following all standard operating procedures for handling customer purchases, returns, exchanges, store credits and discounted transactions along with properly securing cash and other negotiable documents

  • Incorporating suggestive selling techniques when assisting customers and responding to any customer inquiries and needs.

  • Assisting with replenishing merchandise, store layout, recovery, general housekeeping of the store along with monitoring and maintenance of floor stock and fitting room areas,

  • Maintaining an awareness of all product knowledge information, POS instructions, merchandise promotions and advertisements

What do you need

  • Good communication, customer service and organizational skills

  • Ability to move and handle merchandise weighing 0-50 pounds, climb ladders, walk, stand, kneel, and lift during the majority of work shift

  • Use of hands and fingers to handle/feel objects or tools and reach with hand and arms

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Previous customer service/cashier experience preferred

  • High school diploma or educational/experience equivalent

For more information, visit Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Check referrals received from the client for completeness and accuracy.- Complete transaction that will create an arrival date/stamp record.- Date/time stamp referral documents and number them consecutively beginning with #1 each day.- Use the prime's system as the operating encounter system for arrival records to be transmitted as a monthly report to OTDA.- Verify client identification by accessing the client photo and signature via the CBIC's administrative workstation and key in referral number and associated client number (CIN).- Distribute cards, protective sleeves and card carriers.- Compare photo on card with the person receiving the card and sign referral document and have client sign the referral document prior to issuing the card.- Refer client to the PIN Selection Station to select or change PIN.- Properly clarify defective cards and cards created but not picked up by the client.- Maintain positive relationships with HRA staff, co-workers, and clients.- Raise issues of concern and/or problems to the Site Supervisor.- Meet all standards established for this position as outlined in the attached performance criteria.- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Site Supervisor.Minimum Requirements:- High School diploma with 0-1 years of experience.
