Individual Contributor responsible for campaign execution process for direct mail marketing campaigns, leveraging overall understanding of the Bath & Body Works business and the levers that impact execution. Utilize understanding of how CRM impacts the business to contribute ideas for marketing strategy, segmentation/targeting and execution. Extraction of customer data will require training in both the campaign execution tool and SQL in addition to building knowledge around the L Brand's customer data model. Must be able to work effectively on a cross-functional team that handles large volumes of work in a constantly changing environment built on the speed model. Position will primarily be focused on direct mail with cross-training into email execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and build campaign requirements in code and flowchart within campaign execution tool(s) to create the direct mail or email file.

  • Contribute your thoughts and ideas at planning meetings to support the team's strategic goals.

  • Partner & collaborate with Stores & Direct Marketing teams to understand campaign objectives to ensure files accurately reflect objectives of the campaign.

  • Pull and manipulate data from the Marketing Data Warehouse through applicable tool(s) to support business strategies (IBM Campaign/Unica and SQL) in order to generate campaign universe and troubleshoot issues and ad-hoc questions/requests (i.e. customer look-ups).

o Ability to write basic SQL code - will need to be learned (if not already proficient) in order to support the job function

o Develop into a campaign execution expert in IBM Campaign/Unica

  • Ensure flexibility in segment selection and setup, identify & setup priorities for inputs, identify additional or non-standard attributes required for segmentation and determine how incorporating would impact flow & counts.

  • Ensure proper audience selection, test setup and segmentation through a thorough self and peer QA process, along with an adherence to best practices.

o Be accountable for quality and accuracy of work, adjust timelines accordingly when QA requires updates in work and communicate impacts to internal, cross-functional partners and printer/email provider as needed.

o Be able to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during setup or QA.

  • Validate campaign customer segment counts and offer suggestions on adjustments to segment selections when counts are not meeting expected quantities. Select final customers to meet campaign total circ requirement.

  • Assign offers to customer segments in alignment with the strategic goals of the campaign. Create offers within the campaign & offer tools and QA to ensure everything is created/linked correctly.

  • Coordinate with the Database Operations Team to align data hygiene and data availability with campaign objectives and SLAs.

  • Maintain direct mail execution calendar coordinating final timing with peers & Production partners to ensure deliverables are met. Understand potential conflicts/risks to deliverables/SLAs and make recommendations to accommodate.

  • Create and coordinate mailing requirements for printers or email service provider.

  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities within the business process. Assist in training team members on the enhancement.

  • Support team members' work by providing a QA Review for campaigns, provide feedback, help others develop in their execution skills, and serve as a key partner with internal and cross-functional teams.

  • Have a strong understanding of overall team workload and deliverables and be able to adjust & flex in order to ensure both individual and team deadlines are met.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 2+ years' experience in a fast-paced environment preferably in a marketing or financial environment

  • Knowledge of retail industry preferred

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills ability to translate technical into non-technical terms as well as translate strategic thinking into tactical and execution plan for execution

  • Detail-oriented

  • Analytical thinker with ability to identify and proactively solve problems

  • Excellent planning, coordination and collaboration skills

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

  • Demonstrated adaptability

  • Pro-active, curious thinker

  • Team orientation with an ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced, high energy environment

  • Previous experience working in a data warehouse environment preferred

  • Ability to read a complex data model and understand data relationships

  • SQL experience preferred

VIEW JOBS 12/12/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-12T00:00 Description Position Description: The Test Lead manages functional User Acceptance Testing and End to End testing activities on small to large projects, for Bath & Body Works Direct. The scope of the role encompasses test case creation, bug tracking (loading defects, managing priority/dupes), bug status reports and managing defect calls as needed with all developers and project team. The Test Lead may also develop a recommended approach for documenting test cases and tracking defects to make the execution as barrier-free as possible for testers, and giving the correct information to the developers. For smaller projects, this person will also be a tester. This role will likely manage testing for multiple smaller projects concurrently. The Test Lead will work in partnership with the Project Manager/Business Analyst to gather requirement documentation to create test cases with expected results. This role will also be responsible for facilitating test execution and the defect management process. The test lead will report status to project leadership regularly and will own the identification and escalation of any issues or risks for the testing work stream on the project. The Test Lead will use tools such as excel and JIRA to manage the test bed and defects. This role may also have involvement on supporting internal developers to run Unit Testing/QA prior to code being tested in UAT. In the future, this role may support the defect process for test automation, though creating the scripts/running the automated testing is not in scope of this role. The Test Lead may also support documentation creation as our projects ebb and flow. Additionally, this role will support production site issues through the Customer Insights tool ForeSee and possibly other tools. ForeSee is a survey and feedback tool where the Test Lead will manage the day-to-day results and roll up customer insights into actionable lists or recommended fixes/projects to be reviewed with the Manager, Internet Projects & Site Experience.
