To support this rapid growth, we are hiring across the board. We are seeking a Senior Customer Insights Specialist, who will be hyper focused on VCS' customer experience through gathering raw data and identifying trends that will ultimately influence the strategic direction of our sales, marketing, product, and user experience needs. As the voice of the customer, the successful candidate will prioritize research needs, design studies, and present the findings to key internal stakeholders.

Your day to day will involve:

  • Collaborating with global, cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, Product, Technology, Fulfillment & Customer Service departments to identify research objectives and learning goals.

  • Conducting in-depth interviews, surveys and user testing to aid platform improvements and increase customer satisfaction.

  • Utilizing Google Analytics and Fullstory to gain insights on site experiences and opportunities for improvement to the customer experience.

  • Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and present actionable research findings to executive leadership and stakeholders.

In return you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Social Sciences, or related field

  • 1-3 years of experience leveraging data to build business recommendations to drive strategy throughout the organization.

  • Ability to influence others to achieve a shared goal

  • Background in partner, agency management, sales or customer service

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team setting

  • Ability to get things done; solution-based thinking coupled with agility

  • Highly adaptable and comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity

  • Experience with Google Analytics and Fullstory a plus!

National Grid is hiring a Senior Marketing Associate, Business Customer Energy Management in Waltham, MA. Job Purpose In this role you will be part of a Marketing team who is dedicated to helping businesses operate in an energy-efficient way. National Grid is looking for a resourceful self-starter who is passionate about the opportunity to promote energy-saving solutions to large and small businesses across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. The analyst will be responsible for developing commercial and industrial marketing plans and launching omni-channel campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of products and services as well as engage customers in their journey. Key Accountabilities * Develop and executing marketing plans, strategies and messaging to drive product adoption. This includes creating compelling insight-driven marketing briefs and plan to inform creative and campaign development * Optimize marketing plans based on data and analytics, and performance on marketing tactics * Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors/agencies in order develop and implement activities that support National Grid's product strategy. * Manage budget, process and track invoices, and maintain marketing calendar * Work with internal customer insights team to understand customer and apply research to optimize results with choosing marketing channels, and messaging. * Proactively research, monitor and analyze key marketing themes and trends to influence marketing efforts and identify new ways to engage customers * Understand relevant industry regulation, practices, and legislation. Maintain and provide information, such as regulatory information to ensure communications comply with all regulatory requirements and are kept up to date with relevant National Grid policies, processes and programs * Achieve brand alignment to ensure holistic customer experience * Prepare and write relevant documentation, Project Briefs and PowerPoint presentations Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required * A strong track record of managing stakeholder and customer engagement to deliver business outputs. * Proven experience of working within a large, global, complex organization within a multi-stakeholder environment. * Strong networking, influencing and negotiation skills. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree level qualification, preferably in Marketing/Communications, and/or a professional qualification in Marketing/Communications and at least 5 years experience of working in brand, marketing and communications. Experience the development, execution and management of marketing campaigns Experience working with external vendors/agencies and other critical communications partners. Experience with consumer goods / technology products is a plus Proficient in relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
