Job Description
We are looking for someone with a broad and deep technical knowledge in 4G/5G cellular and network in consumer electronic field. Individual should feel comfortable to work directly with customer and translate customer requirement to our Engineering team in Taiwan and China. He/she should be able to capture/collect device log, troubleshoot field issue and work with internal teams to come up with first level of diagnostic and provide course of action.
Level of position depends on candidate's qualifications and experience.
Duties and responsibilities
Be the frontline HW/SW and overall system support and interface to customers
Participate in product design and architecture design with R&D.
Translate customer technical requirements into Product Technical Specification for R&D team.
Work with R&D and DQA/SQA teams to ensure features delivery/inclusion.
Support product platform selection and integration
Provide technical pre-sales support to business team and post-sales support to R&D team
Support business team in RFx
Support product technical acceptance and certification process
Run product validation, verification and regression to ensure product quality, performance, reliability, usability, durability and conformance that meet the company's as well as customer's KPI
Write Product Test Plan for our WiFi, Cellular product, Network product
Ensure high system level product quality/performance and out-of-the box user experience
Support, run field test as necessary
Manage and monitor all installed systems, maintained automated infrastructure and coordination test house activities
Provide and improve automation test items request to improve efficiency and reduce human intervention time
Engaging with product group in L2 and L3 level problem escalation
Frequent vendors and customer meetings and visits for product feedback and future opportunities
Provide technical post-sales support to R&D team
Work with R&D and DQA/SQA teams to ensure features delivery/inclusion.
Adhere to bug tracking process per corporate product development lifecycle
Requirements and qualifications
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related 10+ years of work experience
Knowledge in Window, Linux, Virtual Machine and/or Docker/Container is a plus
Experience in TCP/IP V4/V6 network and basic knowledge in test automation operation/framework are required
Able to demonstrate scripting skills in shell, and batch scripts
Team player being able to adapt to multicultural environment
Willingness to learn and explore new technologies
Big plus with experience in wireless and wired telecommunication industry
To include fixed and mobile broadband, cellular (LTE, 4G/5G), WiFi LAN (802.11ac, 802.11ax,…) and PAN
Hands on experience in commercial tools - network, mobile, field, diagnostics, logging, automation, E2E such as QXDM, PCAP, Wireshark,….
Knowledge and experience with carriers' certification and technical approval process from US carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc.)
Willing and able to travel
Ability to work in a team as well as an individual contributor when necessary

Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year
