Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist Warranty Manager on a daily basis as necessary
Work with Warranty Manager on any elevated warranty service issues
Respond to homeowner warranty calls as assigned by Warranty Manager
Provide training for warranty new hires
Assist Warranty Technicians on trade repairs
Call homeowners within 48 hours of receiving their call, fax, or email
Enter work order information into Build Pro and distribute to Contractors
Close out all completed work orders in Build Pro
Schedule warranty work with homeowners, field personnel, and trades
Assist with Home Orientations as necessary
Assist with homeowner visits within 30 days after closing
Assist with homeowner calls on all completed work orders to ensure that work was completed to their satisfaction
Assist in maintaining community standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with customers, contracted agencies and workers, other employees, supervisory personnel
Experience in homebuilding industry preferred
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft word
Education and Experience:
5+ years of home building industry experience required.
High school degree or GED.
