NerdWallet is strategically scaling its CRM initiatives and team and is seeking a Senior CRM Manager to develop, implement, launch, test, and monitor results for customer relationship management programs that utilize dynamic content and event triggers to onboard, activate, and retain members. This person will be self-directed with the ability to support directing diverse cross-functional teams and managing CRM associates.
Where you can make an impact:
Scope, develop, and launch CRM marketing programs across email and push programs
Build and refine audience/event-based communication triggers across the member user-journey
Implement audience segmentation strategies, partnering with team members to drive targeting requirements
Lead and drive Sprint planning and campaign calendaring using inputs from quarterly plans
Work regularly with internal cross-functional and external solution partners including Product, Engineering, and Creative to launch and support new campaigns, refine processes/systems, while maintaining existing ones
Manage two CRM associates to execute on campaign strategies and new program initiatives and conduct reporting/analysis
Steer prioritization of CRM teams day-to-day operational workload to increase velocity and look for ways to improve operational processes
Monitor and report results on program and campaign analysis
You have:
Knowledge of overall email processes and ESP platforms
Proven success and experience in launching audience specific dynamic content lifecycle and event-triggered CRM programs
Experience in managing direct reports
Strong project management skills
Strong analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration
Effective oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email design and manipulation
Your experience:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years experience in direct response marketing
5+ years experience developing email campaigns with an email campaign management system (ex. Iterable, Marketo, Responsys, ExactTarget/SalesForce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
Ability to understand the scope of CRM program work and work independently to launch programs
Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization
Self-starter, detail oriented
Highly motivated, proactive, and able to solve diverse problems efficiently
Effective collaborator and ability to gain consensus around projects and processes
Nice to have:
Previous experience with financial products
Experience with Iterable
Experience with Direct Mail marketing
Knowledge of SQL
