Purpose of JobWe are currently seeking talented Credit Risk Analyst Senior for our San Antonio, TX or Remote facility.

Measures, monitors, and analyzes historical trends and external factors impacting the credit risk exposure for loan products. Develops detailed analysis, utilizing sophisticated analytical and financial modeling and statistical techniques to predict, evaluate and manage the credit risk across various loan portfolios. Assesses lending product/portfolio performance specific to credit loss and financial elements. Under minimal supervision, performs complex work assignments and problem resolution.

Job Requirements

  • Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of the business, its products, and processes.

  • Synthesizes analyses, identifies root causes, and develops and recommends key work products.

  • Recognizes appropriate credit risk strategies to be developed and implemented.

  • Guides team members in the development and delivery of their work products.

  • Assembles key participants and guides and facilitates teams in the development and implementation of key initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years (10 Total) of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a Degree.

  • 6 or more years of Credit Bureau Reporting business support and/or general analysis experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and applicable databases.

  • Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools including skills to develop analysis queries and procedures in SQL, SAS, or other business intelligence and analysis software applications for data segmentation, aggregation, and statistics (E.g. SPS or Visual Basic).

  • Successful completion of a job-related assessment may be required.

Preferred

  • 3+ years of Fair Credit Reporting Act experience related to all products (Credit Cards, Consumer Loans, Deposits, Mortgage, and Home Equity).

  • Strong knowledge of the Metro 2 Reporting Guidelines.

  • Intricate working knowledge of ALS, FDR, and EWS.

  • Experience with remediation's, action plans, and development of processes and procedures related to Fair Credit reporting act.

  • Prior experience performing assessments or validations.

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst for our San Antonio, TX location. Job Requirements * Utilizes advanced analytics to assess future risk, opportunities, and effectiveness. * Translates results into meaningful solutions to enhance decision making. * May present findings to various levels of leadership. * Applies advanced knowledge and industry best practices to quantify risk and aggregate exposures. * Develops complex systems and programs that measure aggregate risk exposures. * Engages in model validation and produces model validation reports * Applies innovative and scientific/quantitative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make recommendations to answer business objectives and drive change. * Translates recommendations into communication materials to effectively present to colleagues for peer review and management. * Applies advanced knowledge to produce advanced analytical material for discussions with cross functional teams to understand complex business objectives and influence solution strategies. * Provides mentorship to other team members in the peer review process. Preferred * 6+ years of experience with Market Risk modelling techniques (fixed income securities valuation, IR derivatives, VaR, greeks, or stress scenarios) or Credit Risk modelling techniques (PD/KMV EDF, asset correlations, LGD, EAD, EL/UL, EC, impairments, or counterparty credit) * 6+ years of experience producing high-quality documentation of model assumptions, design, implementation, limitations, and performance monitoring in compliance with model risk governance policy/procedures and meeting heightened regulatory expectations * 6+ years of experience with Capital Markets and Investment Portfolios: how the markets operate, what the products and main risk drivers are, how credit cycles work, how investment portfolios are constructed, and what are main methodologies to analyze portfolio risks * Master's Degree or PhD in financial mathematics or other quantitative discipline and/or CFA or FRM certifications * Experience with investment credit models (ex.
