Re:Car is looking for an energetic, organized, experienced Senior Crash Simulation Engineer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing crash simulations to develop and optimize EV body structure.

What you get to do:

The Senior Crash Simulation Engineer will be working with CAE tools to lead and guide the design. The Senior Crash Simulation Engineer will be responsible for performing full vehicle frontal, side and rear crash simulations as per FMVSS, USNCAP and IIHS standards using Ls Dyna. This candidate is using pre-processing tools like ANSA and HYPERMESH to create and debug the full vehicle crash model. This senior engineer will use META or HYPERWORKS to post-process the crash simulation results. He/she will suggest recommendations for improving the design. This senior engineer can understand the problem by digging into and analyzing the results and is able to find the optimized solution by performing several full vehicle crash simulation iterations. The Senior Crash Simulation Engineer involves in component and vehicle testing too and he/she will correlate the CAE results with the test data. The Senior Crash Simulation Engineer is responsible for applying advanced methods like DOE/DFSS to optimize the design. This senior engineer will create reports to present the results of the simulations and the improvements achieved. He/she will communicate with the design team, manufacturing team, and suppliers to achieve the desired vehicle performance.

What you bring to the Team:
