The Role

Honest is looking for a Senior Copywriter to help shape and deliver our messaging across our Beauty, Baby and Personal Care brands. The Copywriter will play an integral role in the formation of our brand creative strategy, product development, campaign development, and marketing communications across all mediums, to support a range of initiatives for our mission-driven, storytelling-focused company.

You'll be responsible for leading the creation of holistic messaging across all channels to build our brand, increase awareness and drive consumer engagement/conversion. We're looking for someone who embraces strategic and creative solutions to inspire, educate and convert our customers through a language that is relatable, confident, and purposeful.

• Work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment to ideate and develop engaging messaging for all online and offline marketing assets.

• Create relevant and meaningful communications across marketing channels, including email, social, blog, paid media and d2c + retailer website.

• Write inspiring, original and engaging copy for product descriptions .

• Support creative team to development compelling storytelling and narratives for seasonal campaigns.

• Contribute to larger product, campaign and/or brand initiatives, including helping to ideate messaging, storyboards, scripts, and taglines for launches.

• Support initiatives to establish and refine brand identity and Tone + Voice.

• Build systematic copy templates for evergreen work to save time for more creative endeavors.

• Push the creative boundaries of our legal and regulatory requirements.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree (English, journalism, or other relevant area of study preferred)

• 3-5 years of copywriting experience (Beauty, personal care, or Baby Brand experience preferred)

• Online and e-commerce copywriting experience

• Superior writing and proofreading skills with an excellent command of grammar

• Familiarity with basic industry style guide standards

• Ability to organize, interpret and clearly present scientific information to a general audience.

Candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio or writing samples in context to full campaigns or completed assets.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $77,000 - $105,000. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total rewards package for this position may also include base, annual incentive plan, benefits, retirement plan, equity, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
