SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Writes, proofs, and edits copy that promotes products, attracts physicians to education programs, raises patient awareness of procedures, and inspires employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION PERFORMED
Develops, proofs, and writes copy for assigned projects.
Edit or rewrite existing copy such as brochures, blogs, stories, video scripts, white papers, social media posts.
Supports the development of sales/marketing materials, literature production and distribution.
Assists with developing practices and procedures related to marketing, advertising and sales promotion materials.
Reviews advertising trends, consumer surveys, and other data regarding marketing of similar products.
Ensures written materials are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
Perform other related duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related field and five years of copy writing experience.
Social media and content marketing experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team member.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively and to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Demonstrated computer skills with the following programs: Microsoft Suite--Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Copy writing -- planning/development/creation.
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
Knowledge of various style manuals
