Contracts and Sourcing Analyst
The Corporate Accounting department has an immediate opening for a Contracts and Sourcing Analyst to conduct procurement of assigned goods and services for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. In this role, the analyst will partner with the business lines to develop and execute sourcing strategies. This individual will responsible for determining the appropriate method of procurement and ensure the procurement is conducted both timely and cost effectively in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines. This individual will also plan and execute sourcing solutions and provide consultation to business leaders, and suppliers regarding contract obligations and sourcing strategies. The analyst will also proactively understand the market, key business drivers, priorities, and business demand in alignment to the Federal Reserve System procurement vision.
Researches, analyzes, and completes moderate to high risk contract negotiation and administration, preparation of proposals, and customer support activities related to contract management
Develops complex contracts and proposals and works with Legal to modify contract language as appropriate to meet legal obligations
Develops strategies to support contract negotiations, in alignment with business initiatives and objectives
Reviews estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and/or compliance with stated guidelines and policies
Advises management of contractual rights and obligations, provides general training and support to clients, staff, and management, and answers complex inquiries as necessary
Key participant in cross-functional workgroups to address technical or systems related matters related to procurement, sourcing, contracts and asset management

The hiring range for the Contracts and Sourcing Analyst Senior is $82,000 $102,500 annually.

Education & Experience:
5-9 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge & Skills:
Excellent analytical ability
Acute attention to detail with a high level of data integrity and accuracy
Ability to identify critical disparities and/or redundancies in legal documentation and report compliance concerns, and provide direction on moderately complex issues to internal and external groups
Excellent oral and written communication
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
Broad knowledge of acquisition guidelines and principles of contract management, including sourcing negotiation, and compliance monitoring processes
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with various other online applications, as needed for the role
