The Senior Manager will have the primary responsibility to develop actionable business intelligence that drives global strategic decisions and advances our long-term strategy. The key internal audience for this role is Edwards' Executive Leadership Team, Corporate Strategy team as well as our global strategy partners. Specific responsibilities will include modeling of new and existing markets, gathering and analyzing competitive and market intelligence, and assessing the impact of clinical evidence to deliver actionable insights driving strategic decisions. Key responsibilities: * Under the guidance of the Director of Corporate Performance and Analytics help to define and realize a coherent, well-targeted and actionable business intelligence and performance management strategy and roadmap * Play an instrumental role in collection and synthesis of business and competitive intelligence * Integrate data and findings from various quantitative and qualitative global data sources to develop key learnings and insights * Manage, maintain and advance our global market models of our existing markets and new markets * Collaborate with global colleagues to develop and leverage key market and competitive insights * Leverage insights and market knowledge to enhance connectivity and collaboration between our strategy partners within our business units, Regions and other business partners * Develop presentations, high-quality data visualizations, dashboards, balanced scorecards (KPI's) and other analytical tools to facilitate timely communication of findings, strategic insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, including executive management * Present findings and recommendations to all internal and external stakeholders, including executive management #LI-VS1 #MI Required Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent experience preferred * This role will require strong cross-functional collaboration with the global business units and functions * Minimum of 12 years of experience required, 5 of which should have been focused on developing and implementing business strategies and/or corporate development * Experience in medical device, biotech or health care is strongly preferred * Deep understanding of Lifesciences industry and of its regulated environment * Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making * Demonstrated ability to challenge conventional thinking and think out of the box to evaluate a wide range of options and variables, coupled with the ability to distinguish and extract the simple from the complex in regards to high-impact projects * Excellent business acumen including agility with the business complexity and ability to see clearly where the opportunities are. * Proficiency in financial analysis to evaluate analyst reports and models as well as the ability to translate complex financial information into simple frameworks and messages * Comfortable multi-tasking and looking at the role from a wide angle * Global perspective and ability to interface at all levels of the organization * Strong written, verbal and presentation skills * Requires 15% travel Edwards Lifesciences Corp Irvine CA
