Senior Consultant, QA Automation Engineer

Trissential is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our client's team in remotely in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA automation, particularly with Salesforce and HealthCloud. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce modules by thoroughly testing and validating their functionality, performance, and compatibility. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of a robust and user-friendly software solution. This role is open only to candidates authorized to work and reside in the US.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and application features

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications for Salesforce modules, ensuring maximum coverage of business processes

• Execute manual and automated tests to verify the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of Salesforce functionality

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java, ensuring coverage of critical integration scenarios

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of our automated testing frameworks, ensuring scalability and maintainability

• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting

• Perform system integration testing, ensuring seamless interaction between various Salesforce modules and other integrated systems

• Conduct performance and scalability testing to assess the system's response under different conditions and workloads

• Participate in regression testing to validate that new enhancements and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality

• Collaborate with business users to understand end-user perspectives, gather feedback, and refine test scenarios

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies within the project team

Lead Duties:

• Lead the implementation of automation frameworks, advocate for priority alignment in daily standups, contribute to agile planning meetings, and manage backlogs

• Make hands-on contributions to building and enhancing solutions for challenging technical problems that improve the effectiveness of automation for product development teams

• Enhance the automation architecture through the leadership of pilot projects

• Integrate automation add-ons to continuously enhance the existing framework

• Provide thought leadership in the implementation of the test automation strategy and processes for product development teams

• Contribute to automation planning and participate in best practice/knowledge sharing forums.

• Coach and mentor QE Analysts

Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• In-depth understanding of Salesforce modules, architecture, and underlying database structures

• Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate Salesforce functionality

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of accurately identifying and documenting defects

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team

• Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Desired:

• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing is a plus

• Salesforce certification is a plus

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience as a QA Automation Lead

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on integration testing and automation, including a minimum of 2 years working with Salesforce

• Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing tools and methodologies

• Specific experience with Salesforce test automation

• Hands-on experience with HealthCloud

Benefits

Trissential offers competitive compensation package for full time roles. The hourly pay range for this role is $54 to $57 annually based on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; up to 48 hours of accrued paid safe and sick time, and 401k retirement savings.
