The Role

Our Transformation Management Consulting practice is looking for a Senior Consultant Organizational Change Management Consulting, to join our journey. We're looking for someone who is passionate about transformation, wants to make an impact, and loves working together to deliver flawless results for an end-client to join us on our mission. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for handling the full transformation life cycle, from operational readiness to change and adoption to systems engineering and truly the entirety of organizational development for our clients.

At Cognizant, we help clients with their most strategic initiatives. This group in particular works cross-functionally with the practices within Consulting to handle the orchestrion, business readiness, and design to create a model that will build organizational maturity for a client. We serve some of the most prestigious companies in the world, across industries, including Banking, Media, Energy, Healthcare, Insurance, Manufacturing, Travel, and more.

We're looking for people who understand what true transformation means. This is a great opportunity for someone with a foundation in process, process mapping, building workflows, etc to apply it in an Advisory Consulting environment. To be successful, you'll need to be a self-starter who is energized by process and loves to identify pain points and transform a process and the way business is done. Examples of a background that will help you succeed are experience with Process Optimization, PMO, Project Management, Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management or similar. In this role, you will apply your experience on a client project and/or internal initiatives, and you will be part of a team that will guide clients through complex scenarios and lead them into the digital era.

We're looking for Senior Managers who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. At this level, that means overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, establishing oneself as a thought leader in your field, solving complex problems, consultatively working with a client to achieve business goals, driving contributions to offerings and innovations, and serving as a people leader, guiding multiple teams as they work to transform a client and the world. Responsibilities

  • Create Change Strategy and Plan

  • Create and Manage Communications

  • Manage Stakeholder Engagement

  • Conduct a Training Needs Analysis

  • Build a Change Impact Assessment

  • Advocate for and establish appropriate recognition for Consulting within projects and negotiate applicable consultant rates in project sizing that correspond to the value Consultants contribute to engagements.

  • Exercise leadership in the development of Consulting service offerings.

  • Support and contribute to the establishment of thought leadership in the industry, to promote Cognizant's brand and to drive additional opportunities for Cognizant.

  • Consult directly with our clients and provide advisory services designed to help them solve their most complex business and technology challenges Manager and direct a small-to-medium team of Consultants through client engagement, analysis, business case development, and the development of focused and contextual solutions

  • Lead communications with project stakeholders, including status reporting, priority setting, and timely issue resolution

Qualifications

  • A proven track record in a client-facing role with at least 2 of which (though ideally more) are leading digital technology team.

  • 10-15 years' experience in managing ERP Change Management initiatives

  • Experience using Oracle Guided Learning

  • Strong communications skills

  • Experience managing change practitioners

  • The track record and experience to achieve the above, which includes ideally 6-8+ years of management consulting experience, where at least 2 of those (though ideally 4+) have been Digital technology (business or technical consultative) team lead experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Business, Communications, Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent

  • The ability to set and manage multiple project plans for a single client; a command of project management principles and a track record of applying them to drive transformation successfully

  • Experience leading technical and non-technical initiatives; previous experience coordinating workstreams in multi-team projects, ideally using an onsite / offshore model

  • Leadership skills that bring out the best in others; the ability to oversee multiple Consultants and non-consultants who are working toward a common goal - the best possible outcome for a client

  • Travel Required: As needed by client.
