Job Overview:

LPL Financial is looking for a seasoned Email & Marketing Automation professional to help define and develop holistic strategies to optimize digital marketing campaigns and ensure compliance across Pardot and Marketing Cloud.

This individual will be integral in supporting a centralized email function and driving the organization to more strategically use the channel, including developing integrated digital marketing campaigns and experiences.

As part of this role, this individual will be responsible for interfacing with business partners to develop email plans backed by data that drive specific business objectives. This individual will be responsible for executing one-off and complex email marketing campaigns, implementing A/B tests, and leveraging data to inform future email plans. This individual will also consult on marketing technology implementation and work with web and other channels to create connected experiences that drive high performing lead campaigns.

This position is a combination of technical, analytical and creative thinking. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has led a complex, enterprise marketing automation program and is comfortable managing inter-connected, automated workflows tied to critical lead reporting as well as optimizing email and landing page performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the business owner for the email & marketing automation platform to drive the channel forward by working collaboratively with cross functional partners.

  • Partner with the marketing team in developing integrated marketing campaigns and experiences that meet business goals and deliver a positive user experience.

  • Develop recommendations and optimizations for high-performing email campaigns, landing pages, and forms and work closely with Digital Marketing, Creative Services and UX teams to execute.

  • Own the marketing technology implementation of the platform and partner across business units to troubleshoot campaigns.

  • Report out on KPIs, including leads generated from marketing automation campaigns.

  • Work closely with Business Intelligence, CRM and marketing technology teams to develop audience segmentation strategy.

  • Recommend and implement marketing automation best practices across the organization.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Email & Marketing Automation, Database Marketing, Digital Campaign Management. Pardot & Marketing Cloud preferred.

  • Experience managing an enterprise level, two-way connection to Salesforce.

  • Experience defining lead criteria and developing workflows to automate updates based on lifecycle stages.

  • Experience interfacing with clients either internally or in an agency environment; experience with direct interaction with senior leaders preferred.

  • Ability to develop clear, concise presentations that inform senior leaders and motivate the cross-functional team in maturing campaigns and marketing automation practices.

Core Competencies:

  • High energy with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment.

  • Ability to think critically and make optimization decisions based off of data analytics.

  • Impeccable attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferences:

  • Experience in solutions engineering or consulting

  • People management experience

  • Skilled in marketing testing, data analysis, and reporting

  • Highly efficient team player, with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

  • Demonstrated understanding of email & marketing automation best practices

Pay Range:

$76,640-$114,960/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
