Job Description

HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Computer Systems Security Analyst to work out of Fort Meade, MD in support of a multi-national developed capability that connects respective existing national Secret networks and services to deliver improved information sharing capabilities between Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Designs, tests, and implements state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products

• Analyzes user requirements to determine strategic and operational security procedures and technology requirements.

• Assists project manager in developing a project plan, functional requirements, and secure IT infrastructure and application delivery.

• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for application design. I am involved in a wide range of security issues, including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.

• Use encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research.

• May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

Nine years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 7 years relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; 4 years relevant experience with a Ph.D. or Juris Doctorate in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

• Applicable joint Cybersecurity certification(s) such as, but not limited to, CISSP or Security+

• Experience in securing information systems, network infrastructures, or other related technologies.

• Must possess in-depth technical knowledge regarding up-to-date methods for securing information sources and delivery mechanisms.

• Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance

• US Citizen

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with ServiceNow

• Experience working in or for the military

• Expertise in Multi-national Combatant Command-level military exercises, coalition networking in support of military operations, and/or Mission Partner Environments, such as Pegasus.

• Experience or interest in materials, material applications, defense systems, and/or supply chains.

• Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques.

• Effective data analysis and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Agile/Scrum Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, Scrum, how Scrum is done, standard Scrum/Agile.
