Job Description:

Performs engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems for commercial, government, military and/or scientific uses.

Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

Maintains equipment and/or systems integrity while ensuring compliance with policies.

Coordinates the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

Provides guidance and leadership to less-experienced engineering personnel.

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Experience: Five (5) years of professional experience designing and/or analyzing network architectures; Two (2) years of professional experience writing, reviewing, and maintaining new or existing network requirements, technical documentation such as user manuals, product specifications, and training materials; Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Routing and Switching.

One (1) year of professional experience troubleshooting VME and/or PLC based systems for the U.S. Navy. Experience on LCS ships desired.

Required: GSEC or Security + (CE) or SSCP or ENSA or CNSSI 4011/4012

Certificate or NEC-2379 or 2301 or 2375 or 2363, CYBR2400, NETW4001,

SSC 6209

Windows or Linux OS certification

possess or ability to obtain Secret Clearance
