The NVIDIA PhysX SDK team is hiring! We are looking for a low-level systems programmer to help create both the front and back-ends for our compiler technologies. Raise the bar for our shading languages by adding richer language features. Turbocharge language runtime performance by writing optimized, platform-specific back-ends.
What we need to see:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
6+ years of relevant experience.
Expert C++ programming skills: You have worked on large software projects as part of an agile team and used continuous integration.
GPU parallel programming experience with HLSL, GLSL, and CUDA.
Deep familiarity with Intel and AMD CPU generations, multithreading and SIMD.
Experience writing compilers, interpreters and/or virtual machines.
Experience using LLVM is a huge plus.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Passionate about programming languages and compilers.
Excited to learn about new platforms and figuring out how to get the best possible performance out of them.
Flexible, willing to change directions quickly when requirements shift.
Self-sufficient, going out to determine how you can help rather than waiting for a specific assignment.
