Harmonization of Compensation Programs
Key team member on work stream to help meet critical integration deliverables
Responsible for job evaluation, market pricing and analyzing competitive market data for various businesses
Brainstorm and arrive at solutions on integration matters related to compensation for the U.S. region
Assist in the migration to fiscal year timing for annual compensation planning (i.e., salary increases, incentives and equity)
Variable Pay Programs (Short- and long-term incentives)
Evaluate current annual bonus plans and update to ensure alignment with business strategy and market competitiveness
Review plans metrics, incentive structure and payout mechanisms
Partner with other key stakeholders (i.e., LOB heads, Finance and Risk)
Ensure plans meet regulatory and compliance requirements
Responsible for equity (stock) administration
Partner with CIBC Canada stock administrator, stock vendor, Finance, Payroll and others on equity administration matters
Day to day administration such as determining equity treatment for terminated employees, daily stock option exercises, managing the annual vesting of equity, and tax treatment for retirement eligible employees
Prepare and deliver all equity communications (grant agreements, tax communications, grant acceptance materials, etc.)
Work to build out efficiencies in the program and with our stock vendor
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5-7 years relevant work experience
Prior stock administration experience helpful
Incentive plan design and understanding of key financial metrics helpful
