The Senior Compensation Analyst provides plan administration support for the compensation function. Conducts ongoing and detailed analysis of all compensation plans for the network to ensure they are current and competitive with regards to trends, practices and costs.
Evaluates plans for efficiency, financial impact and alignment to the organization's strategic initiatives. Provides effective and consistent support to staff and management throughout the organization on issues related to compensation and performance management.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with administration of all network compensation, bonus and at-risk programs. Understands all related policies and provides appropriate guidance to staff, management and HR team members.
Serve as primary contact for the administration of the staff and management online evaluation systems, ensuring the efficient operation of both programs
Completes annual salary surveys. Remains up-to-date on the latest market trends and/or conditions by establishing networking relationships with HR professionals in the region
Reviews classification and compensation requests for all network entities. Provides timely recommendations per current program guidelines and practices
PHYSICIAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Requires sitting for up to 8 hours per day, 2 hours at a time. Standing for up to 2 hours per day, 1 hour at a time.
Requires occasional fingering, handling, and twisting and turning while entering data into the computer. Occasionally requires lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Occasionally requires reaching above shoulder level. Must have the ability to hear as it relates to normal conversation, seeing as it relates to general, peripheral and near vision, visual monotony.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Statistics, Business or related field required.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in analyzing and administering compensation and performance management plans for a large and complex organization. Strong understanding of relevant federal, local and state labor laws required.
Prior work on DOL and/or other regulatory audits desired. Previous experience presenting to large groups and/or management required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access required.
Previous experience with the implementation of a Human Capital Management System (HCMS/HRIS) desired.
