Primary Objective/Purpose of the Job

Provides compensation consulting services to several business lines/areas of the company. Responsible for day-to-day design, development, implementation, and administration of global compensation programs and systems. Develops, analyzes, implements and manages team member, company, and industry data for the compensation function.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with HR business partners as well as business leaders

  • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.

  • Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.

  • Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary scales.

  • Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.

  • Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.

  • Has experience analyzing and benchmarking roles for senior leaders.

  • Has experience in compensation program design for short-term and long-term incentive programs

  • Utilize your experience in research, reporting and analysis, to help identify gaps and opportunity areas across compensation programs.

  • Partner with finance, accounting, legal and tax departments to ensure regulatory and legal compliance of employee compensation practices.

  • Delivers global projects based on overall HR prioritization

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Required

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally

  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods

  • Ability to present findings to leadership

  • Extensive knowledge of compensation best practices

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Google Doc, Google Sheet, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

Experience

  • Four years of experience as a compensation analyst required.

  • Two years specialized executive compensation analysis/administration experience

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Math, Business or related field

  • Any one of the following preferred: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP); Global Remuneration Professional (GRP); Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP); Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP)

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
