Work Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA - On-site presence required Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday & Thursday are remote, however, you must be willing to work on-site on these days pending business needs.
Description
Serves as an internal consultant for compensation programs and related business needs.
Designs, implements, and maintains compensation programs to ensure equitable and competitive pay practices.
Responsible for executing high-level project-work and engaging in complex analytics pertaining to employee compensation.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
Develops and maintains databases, dashboards, and custom reports/queries.
Builds relationships with internal customers and client groups and liaises with Human Resources business partners (HR BP) to deliver consistent and high-quality customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Educates managers, directors and other leaders about the organizations compensation programs and organization compensation philosophy.
Helps to review and provide input on annual salary administrative processes, including salary structure creation and maintenance and development of incentive.
Assists in developing training and documentation related to processes, audits, and employee compensation.
Actively engage with stakeholders to rebuild and refine processes for better outcomes.
Assists in reviewing compensation policies and procedures recommending changes to improve the efficiency and quality of their administration.
Ensures programs comply with internal and external policies and regulations.
Determines appropriate salary quotes for new hires, transfers, promotions, and demotions using an established methodology, while assisting junior analysts with similar requests.
Assists in processing wage and salary changes resulting from merit increases, promotions or other job changes or market adjustments.
Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to compensation leadership.
Provides coaching and mentoring to junior compensation analysts.
Conducts supervisory training and orientation sessions on compensation related topics to business partners.
Performs compensation related responsibilities and other assigned job duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Four (4) to six (6) years of progressive Human Resources experience required, preferably in healthcare.
Three (3) years of compensation or finance related experience required.Advanced MS Excel and MS Power-Point skills required.
