The Compensation Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting Quarterly Variable Compensation program(s) by providing subject matter expertise in data collection, analytics, tracking tools and report generation across multiple functions and other related tasks. Scope includes, but is not limited to, effective collaboration with business partners, support of the team's communication, problem solving, change management, and innovation.

We seek a team player who also works well independently, seeks solutions for obstacles and missing information to ensure deadlines are met or exceeded. Further success traits include being go-getter, not someone who has to be continuously instructed what to do, having solid critical thinking skills, perseverance, and the ability to keep track of many things (not letting things fall through the cracks).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with internal clients as a representative of the Quarterly Variable Compensation Program function using effective communication techniques

  • Understand and adhere to documented program Terms and Conditions and Plan Schedules

  • End-to-end responsibility for the timely administration of compensation plans, including collection, review and generation of applicable data sets, ensuring accurate award calculations and subsequent payment processing

  • Support the development of tools and platforms that promote the Quarterly Variable Compensation program(s). This requires a moderate level of technical aptitude and is critical to the success of the role

  • Support other team initiatives as indicated including training, remediation and compliance audits

  • Identify and implement best/better practices in data management and effective QA processes

  • Serve as subject matter expert for identifying format and data logic issues and communicating with program management team and business stakeholders

The successful candidate will be able to assess complex problems and recommend the appropriate solutions. They will have an objective, collaborative approach and will have the ability to adapt in a dynamic and high-growth environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrable data analytics experience

  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel including filters, manipulating data, sorting, vlookup, formulas, and pivot tables

  • Experience using PowerPoint

  • Adept at understanding complex concepts and situations presented by the business environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Access

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent problem solving, organizational and time management skills
