The Senior Compensation Analyst is a Corporate Human Resources member responsible for implementing and assisting in the compensation administration processes. The Senior Analyst serves as a liaison to Human Resources and management to propose, implement, and revise compensation practices and policies and resolve compensation-related issues globally. This role is a hybrid opportunity, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from our Global Headquarters located in the Spring, Texas area. Mondays and Fridays remote.
What You Will Do:
Compensation Administration and Reporting
Gather relevant market data on pay practices, programs, and economic trends as needed.
Assists with preparing, implementing, and distributing global salary structures.
Evaluate salaries for new hires, promotion job offers, or other ad hoc adjustments as requested.
Maintenance of employee and job information in the compensation database.
Generates various internal HR metrics reports, ad hoc compensation reports, and analyses as requested.
Generates scheduled ABS HR data reports for external sources.
Job Descriptions and Evaluations
Reviews, monitors, and approves job descriptions and other HR Documentation via ETQ through discussions with HR Generalists.
Ensures job descriptions are in place and accurate for roles.
Reviews FLSA exemption status and determines appropriate categorization for jobs.
Market Data, Analysis and Salary Surveys
Completes salary surveys and maintains results for the organization worldwide.
Performs and reviews market data and conducts reviews of internal jobs.
Participates in annual salary surveys and ad hoc annual salary analyses.
Annual Merit and Incentive Programs
Assists the manager in the annual merit and incentive process as needed.
Answers questions or provides additional guidance to HR Generalists on organizational philosophy, pay for performance, or system-related issues.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Typically requires 5‒7 years of previous related experience or a combination of education and experience.
CCP, GRP, SPHR, or GPHR certifications are preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
Must communicate effectively with employees and leaders from all levels of the organization.
Obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System.
Reporting Relationships:
The incumbent reports to a Manager or Director and does not have direct reports.
