Summary

Seeking a talented communications manager responsible for overseeing the implementation of both internal and some external corporate communications initiatives. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing internal processes and concepts into strategies while meeting aggressive timelines. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the following duties:

Key Responsibilities Include

• Develops an understanding of short- and long-term company and departmental goals and initiatives.

• Develop and write copy for corporate social media posts, company newsletters, presentations, Intranet copywriting and proofreading while adhering to the company's brand and corporate narrative.

• Engage with key internal stakeholders to gain insights into departmental priorities and develop a proactive plan to address them. Build and maintain solid partnerships with internal partners.

• Develops content and directs creative execution to provide a consistent, concise and impactful messages while collaborating, brainstorming, and strategizing with multiple teams across the company.

• Contributes thought leadership content for new internal communications campaigns by driving increased adoption of SharePoint and newsletters.

• Create press releases, media content, executive bios, video scripts, assist with storyboards for internal pre-video production.

• Write speeches/talking points for leadership and organizational news.

• Research media coverage and industry trends.

• Monitor the progress of various communications strategies.

• Develop and manage the internal communication content calendar.

• Produce monthly internal reports and presentations by evaluating success metrics, trends and feedback mechanisms.

• Work with manager to develop budget items and manage to budget.

Qualifications Include

• Leadership abilities

• Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong Copywriting skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Proactive approach to solving problems.

• Time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Solid data analysis, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

• Financial Services experience a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite software

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in communications, journalism, marketing, business administration, public relations, Master's degree a plus.

• Minimum 15 years of Internal Communications experience or similar experience

• Experience in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
