E3/Sentinel is seeking a Senior Communications Plans and Operations Leader to effectively integrate research, planning, execution and evaluation of all Military Health System (MHS) public affairs and communications programs across multiple communications channels and disciplines to a wide variety of key audiences. This includes all communications planning and operational support to the Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), the transitional management office and the market communications offices under the structure of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), to include support to the National Capital Region (NCR). Provide day-to-day management support of strategic communications plans, coordination/collaboration of production requirements, and oversight of monthly military medical theme plans which incorporate all aspects of the MHS.
Oversee production of program-level communications expertise and support to develop strategic communications plans
Supervise development and maintenance of comprehensive communications, Public Affairs, and customer service
Define current and upcoming phases of communications initiatives.
Identify and develop goals and measureable objectives, strategies, tactics and communications measurements.
Define analytics and metrics in order to measure performance and communication effectiveness and outcomes.
Manage the development and execution of media engagement plans in support of the MHS monthly theme program
Supervise coordination with Office of the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs (OATSD/PA) for all HA/DHA or MHS strategic communications related issues.
Minimum of 10 years of experience creating dynamic communications plans for a variety topics and leading a diverse team.
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Affairs, Public Administration, or relevant field
Ability of obtain and maintain a Public Trust; US Citizenship Required.
Experience in integrated strategic communications plans, operations, media relations, internal communications and strategic outreach.
Experience in writing and coordinating Public Affairs Guidance.
Routine interaction with senior DoD leadership
Experience with the Military Health System (MHS)
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
