Senior Communications Manager, Microsoft Services
This role is part of the internal and executive communications team for Microsoft Services. We have 16,000 professionals around the world working directly with customers to help digitally transform their businesses. You will work with a team of communications professionals to build and execute executive and internal communications plans that support our business priorities and help our people do their best work. You'll collaborate with senior executives, and participate in a positive, creative work environment.
The ideal candidate will bring:
At least five years direct experience in corporate communications, including employee communications, executive communications, public relations and/or broadcasting, journalism.
Ability to produce and edit video is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues and deliver compelling information to a diverse, global employee audience.
Passion for communications, creativity and storytelling, including being thoughtful about how new digital channels and tools are creating new ways to inform and engage people.
Strong organizational skills, and ability to balance competing projects and priorities.
An audience-obsessed mindset.
Knowledge of using data to generate insights and determine impact of communications.
Excel at cross-group and virtual team collaboration.
Previous experience working in fast paced, high pressure, often ambiguous environments.
Analyst Relations experience, as a plus
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Location/Travel: You will be based in Issaquah, WA, near Microsoft HQ, with travel expected to be minimal, 0 10%.
