Weare looking for a Senior Collections Representative to support the UnitedHealthcare Global Riskand Assistance business. UnitedHealthcare Global is the internationaldivision of UnitedHealth Group and serves over 4 million customers, principallyin Brazil, but also residing in over 125 countries. We provide a unique, in - house range ofhealth and mobilization solutions including health care insurance, riskmitigation, security, emergency response and care delivery. Clients include multi - nationaland local businesses, governments, non - US health insurers and travel insurers,reinsurers, individuals and their families.

TheSenior Collections Representative willplay a key part in our Finance team and build upon the foundation to enable futuregrowth. This position is responsible for

Assistance, Risk and Security Services billing, customer disputes andresolution, analysis of receivable balances, quality assessment and supportingcash application and collections. Also,the representative will assist management by providing various reports asneeded.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepareand maintain records of accounts receivable, including subscription billing,receipts and overdue invoices

  • Interactwith customers gathering support data to ensure invoice accuracy and also workthrough specific billing discrepancies

  • Educatecustomers regarding the availability of receiving invoices and remittingpayments through online applications

  • Managethe preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing withaccounts receivables

  • Performperiodic and month - end balancing and reporting activities

  • Completecash application and collection duties

  • Mayalso include quality assurance and audit of billing activities

  • Meet billing team productivity, quality andcustomer service standards

  • Provideinput to policies, systems, methods and procedures for the effective managementand control of the billing function

  • AccountsReceivable (A / R) and Accounts Payable (A / P)

  • Performother duties as assigned

RequiredQualifications:

  • HighSchool Diploma / GED or higher

  • 1 years work experience in either billing, claims processing or claims resolution

  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Excel (ability to create and edit spreadsheets)

  • Experience with Financial software applications

PreferredQualifications:

  • Twoor four year degree in Business or Accounting

  • Previous experience analyzing and solving customer issues

  • Experiencewith Great Plains

  • Foreigncurrency transaction experience

  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Suite PowerPoint, Word and Visio (ability to create, edit and save)

  • RiskManagement industry experience a plus

Soft skills:

  • Ability to solve routine problems independently

  • Work with others for instruction, guidance and to solve more complex issues

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and process discipline
