Responsibilities:

  • Cash Collections on customers with past due invoices

  • Respond to customer inquiries; research unpaid or disputed amounts, identify issues

  • Work with other internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues

  • Interface with customers and associates regarding all aspects of accounts receivable

  • Prepare and review accounts receivable analytical reports

  • Work on several different tasks or projects at one time with other staff within the company

  • Perform account reconciliations

  • Assist with new vendor set ups

  • Assist with payment applications

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; customer service and follow up skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Word, Excel
  • Ideal candidate will have SaaS experience and has worked in fast paced environment.

  • NetSuite experience is a plus

  • Salesforce experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of accounting; data entry skills.

  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail

  • 7+ years' experience in high volume collections environments

  • Previous SaaS Knowledge preferred

We're seeking a highly motivated, energetic Senior Accounts Payable Analyst who is responsible for the global payments and support of all general accounts payable functions to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role as a key collaborator in all procure-to-pay procedures across the organization inclusive of accounts payable functions, reimbursements, and corporate credit cards. They are a self-motivated, system savvy, team player, extremely organized, detail oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong accounts payable experience. They will look for ways to improve the accounts payable process and its efficiency. Take lead on special projects as assigned and collaborate effectively with staff, outside suppliers and management as needed. They will have the highest moral standards, experience in handling highly confidential information, and ensure first-class service to our internal and external partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist with establishing best practices inclusive of technology solutions related to the procure-to-pay workflow * Optimize use of procure-to-pay modules available in our banking and ERP systems * Prepare and review payment runs for accuracy, payment terms, and proper approval * Assist with urgent requests by providing organized and accurate analysis on an ad-hoc basis * Analyze payment volume and processing trends to drive process improvements * Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to AP, reimbursements, credit cards, and internal controls * Assist with month end close activities * Participate in audits by providing support and commentary * Research and resolve escalated accounting inquiries * Prepare all regulatory compliance related to accounts payable (i.e. 1099 reporting) * Communicate effectively to promote favorable partnerships with internal and external customers * Perform ad-hoc projects and tasks as requested EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or other related fields of study * Experience: up to 5 years within AP * Problem Solving: Ability to analyze issues and recommend/implement solutions * Experience working with offshore teams a plus * Experience with Workday or other large-scale ERP required * Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite * Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills * Highest moral standards and safekeeping of confidential information Snowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
