Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center sits on the shores of Lake Washington in Seattle and enjoys access to miles of open waterway. Our facility has multiple indoor instruction spaces and workout areas along with easily accessible motor launches and administrative staff support. Our primary focus is to provide safe, enjoyable programs that use competitive opportunities as a catalyst for social, emotional, and physical development. We are seeking a leader and mentor who will help team members develop a life-long passion for athletics and will teach and model teamwork, safety, sportsmanship, skill, and mutual respect.

Location: Mt Baker Rowing & Rowing

Start Date: Immediately

Work Week Schedule:

• Practice schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday mornings. Requirements may include weekend competition, seasonal staff training, and staff meetings. Other coaching opportunities may be available depending on interest.

Pay rate: $21.95-25.99 Hourly

Senior Coach-Rowing and Sailing Job Responsibilities:

• The Sr Coach and Assistant Coach will teach ongoing adult rowers.

• The Mount Baker adult rowing group attracts 40 - 60 participants each day and incorporates a broad range of experience and goals.

• The Sr Coach will work directly with the head coach to plan and implement practices and prepare competitive teams for competition.

Senior Coach-Rowing and Sailing Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Able to work collaboratively in a supportive, team environment

• Candidates must be able to pass a 10 minute float test prior to date of hire

• Clean driving record
