Senior CNC Programmer / Operator

In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, A Senior CNC Programmer / Operator is responsible for running multiple machines whether it be roughing, hard milling or electrodes. Reporting to the CNC Manager a Senior CNC Programmer / Operator works to ensure accuracy and consistency to help meet or exceed all goals and objectives required from the department.

Responsibilities:

• Read prints and verify Red Line dimensions
• Full understanding of print tolerancing
• Program and operate 3 axis CNC machines
• Program and operate 5 axis and or Mill Turn CNC machines
• Operate automated machinery
• Create multiple and intricate set ups
• In process inspection
• Own an array of tools e.g., tenth indicator, depth micrometer, drop indicator, etc.
• Create set ups for inspection on surface plate e.g., flat, roll dimensions, sign plates, etc.
• Final inspection of machined items
• Deburr, demagnetize, and clean all parts
• Training and motivation
• Cleanliness of work area
• Team player and ability to work well with others

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience in CNC machining
• Five (5) to (10) ten (preferred) years CNC programming and machining experience
• Ability to program in Master Cam, Hyper Mill and or Esprit
• Ability to operate Fanuc based CNC's
• Ability to operate automated CNC's
• Ability to operate 5 axis and or Mill Turn CNC's (preferred)
• Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required
• Ability to ensure quality standards are met
• Strong attention to detail is required
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
• Proficient in time management and communication skills
