Hourly non-exempt Remote Work Status: Does not apply Job Summary : The Senior CNC Technician is responsible for all aspects of the CNC machines to include setup, monitoring, offsets & adjustments and cutting tool changes . Supervisory Responsibilities : None Duties & Responsibilities : Operates multiple machines simultaneously. Completes inspection documentation, and daily operator maintenance sheets.

Makes offsets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision. Monitors and changes cutting tools (inserts) as needed. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.

Advocates for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community. Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS). Completes all required training. Flexible, courteous, friendly and positive approach to work Other duties as assigned Required Skills & Abilities : Ability to train/coach operators on procedure & process Ability to work well in a team environment Knowledge of Fanuc controls (18i-21i, 31i) Knowledge of Lathes & Mills Knowledge of fixture design, tooling application and set up Knowledge of inspection techniques Ability to understand process sheets Able to use measuring equipment (i.e., Calipers, micrometers, Drop indicators) Ability to work to fine tolerances Understanding of simple math Knowledge of QS/ISO 149649 Knowledge of CMM & Zoller (tool & die) Basic blueprint knowledge Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to lift up to 25 Lbs.

Education & Experience : Minimum of a High School Diploma Experience working in automated cells (robots, conveyors, etc.) Experience with Monitoring and changing cutting tools (inserts) as needed Minimum 5 years CNC machine set up and operation Experience using various hand gages and CMM Physical Requirements : Positions at CW may require the following: alternating between sitting and standing; climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolding or ramps; crouching/stooping; driving; near/far visual acuity; fine motor manipulation; gross motor manipulation; hearing; keyboarding; kneeling; lifting/carrying; moving objects; peripheral visual acuity; pushing or pulling; reaching overhead or below; repetitive task performance; sitting; speaking; standing; using foot or leg controls; walking. Environmental Requirements Our manufacturing facility is a climate-controlled environment. There is no long-term exposure to dangerously loud noise or extreme temperatures.

Cognitive Requirements Cognitive abilities include executing tasks independently; learning and/or memorizing tasks; maintaining concentration/focus on tasks; working with/in close proximity to, other people. Attendance Requirements All hourly team members are expected to report to work and be ready to work at their scheduled start time. It is required that they adhere to and follow the attendance policy(ies). All salaried team members are expected to perform their duties/responsibilities in a timely manner.

Although they may not have set schedules, they are expected to either be at work on a schedule agreed upon by their manager or be available via phone/text/Teams if working remotely (Remote work does not apply to CWM positions).
