Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Cloud Solution Architect to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modernizing large-scale and serverless web applications, delivering new and intuitive applications, and providing updates and maintenance for existing apps. This role requires leveraging extensive development experience to foster increased innovation and team velocity within an Agile environment. The Senior Cloud Solution Architect will collaborate with a multi-dimensional team of developers, UX designers, project managers, and testers to achieve outstanding results.

Responsibilities

• Modernize Large-Scale and Serverless Web Applications: Architect and implement modern, scalable solutions that leverage serverless technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.

• Deliver New Applications: Design and develop applications that are intuitive and offer a natural user experience, focusing on usability and user engagement.

• Provide Updates and Maintenance: Ensure the continuous improvement and upkeep of existing applications, addressing bugs, security issues, and user feedback promptly.

• Leverage Development Experience: Utilize extensive experience in development to drive innovation and improve team velocity, promoting best practices and efficient workflows.

• Work in an Agile Environment: Collaborate within an Agile framework, working closely with developers, UX designers, project managers, and testers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks as required to support the team and project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience/education/training)

• 5+ years of Experience as a Cloud Solution Architect with expertise in Azure, AWS, and AWSgov Cloud.

• Proficient in Node.js, Python, Angular, DevSecOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.

• Experience in automating containerized microservices deployment using CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong background in security designs, requirements, testing, and risk mitigation.

• Proficient in DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and AWS services.

• Experience in architecting and delivering cloud-based solutions.

• Experience utilizing agile methodologies through all phases of software development lifecycles.

• Experience using GIT, using GIT repositories, and utilizing GIT best practices.

• US Citizen and ability to obtain DoD Public Trust required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

• Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals

• Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.

• Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.

• Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
