Your role: You will be a part of the Global DataCenter Operations Team which focuses on providing a dynamic and stable platform for the company's various scientific goals.
Our group is responsible for cloud solutions in Google Cloud Platform, AWS and Azure that provide a highly available and secure infrastructure for a multitude of workloads. You will work closely with various teams to ensure efficient operation of daily activities, developer/infrastructure productivity and continuous improvement of products and processes. You will build, support and maintain cloud infrastructure, operating systems and support software.
In this role, you will help coordinate efforts to help drive the correct solutions and/or processes based on application needs and anticipated growth; review and evaluate new and existing software products. Technologies include, but are not limited to: AWS, GCE, Openstack, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, haproxy, Ansible, SALT, Jenkins, python, grafana, graphite and ELK.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ Years' Experience in Agile Environment building complex, scalable and high-performance enterprise software architectures, preferably with Linux/Unix System Administration, AWS, Centos, Red Hat, and other cloud infrastructure/open source technologies.
RedHat/SuSE/CentOS Linux administration experience is required
Basic or Advanced Networking experience is desirable
Basic or Advanced Storage knowledge is desirable
Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills (both oral & written)
Ability to communicate and build relationships with technical and business teams
