THIS ROLE MAY BE REMOTELY BASED (East Coast - drivable to NJ/PA).

Cloud Automation Engineer will be part of a global cloud engineering and automation team focused on infrastructure automation engineering on the AWS/Azure cloud platforms. As member of the cloud engineering and automation COE team, the Engineer will be responsible for:

Engineering & Management of the automation framework & Platform to stay current with internal policies & procedure and advancement of the platform to support current & emerging needs in the areas of automation.
Partnering with existing enterprise IT organization to integrate cloud, ServiceNow, Ansible Tower.
Implement automation that eliminate repetitive tasks. E.g ITPA automation to facilitate self healing, self-service-based AWS/Azure services provisioning using a catalog-based approach.
Driving infrastructure as code and configuration management.
Developing and maintain SDLC documentation for the platform.
Actively participating in promoting best practices through community of practice and learning sessions.

Education Minimum Requirements:

B.S. in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with at least 5 years' experience in IT field and at least 2 years' experience working with either AWS or Azure cloud platforms OR Associate degree/HS diploma with at least 10 years experience in the IT field and at least 3 year's experience working with either AWS or Azure cloud platforms.

Required Experience and Skills:

Understanding of AWS/Azure services from an IaaS/PaaS perspective.
ServiceNow integration hub and catalog forms development.
Experience with development and management of the Ansible Tower Platform.
Experience working in a global team environment.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Certification.
ServiceNow and/or Ansible certification.
Experience with development and light-weight applications, scripts, and services.
Code Development skills with 2 or more PowerShell/ Python/Javascript.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
