The Senior Project Manager will have the overall responsibility for managing projects in accordance with company policies, SOPs, regulatory requirements in addition to financial and contractual obligations.

The Senior Project Manager will plan and pro-actively manage multidisciplinary study teams (including Site Management, Data Management, Statistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory and Safety) to ensure key milestones are achieved and studies are performed within budget, on schedule and in compliance with the appropriate - quality standards.

The Senior Project Manager may assist Project Managers in the identification of critical project task/issues and recommend course of actions to expedite project objectives and function as a project senior-level governance contact for issue escalation matters.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget and in compliance with applicable quality standards
Manages the strategic aspects of projects and identify, analyze and minimize/mitigates any risk, including the implications of difference technical and operational choices.
Mentor and coach for PM when needed
Communicates effectively with clients to successfully manage the relationship, identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
Develop and maintain Project Plans and timelines for their project and track progress
Ensure all study team members are adequately trained on project specific systems and procedures
Manage the resource allocation, on the project, in collaboration with respective line managers
Establish and maintain relationship with third parties/vendors
Participate in capability presentations/bid defenses, as needed
May provides leadership, guidance and support for Business Development opportunities, including participating in business proposal generation and final review process.
Contribute in review/develop procedures, guidelines, SOPs, metrics as needed

Requirements

Bachelors Degree, preferably in life science or RN diploma
5 year of relevant experience
experience working in Project Management in Dermatology clinical trials
In depth knowledge of clinical research regulations governing the conduct of the clinical trials and quality standards
In depth knowledge of project planning and metrics
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff

This role will sit embedded within one of our prestigious clients who promotes rapid career development. Clinical Project Manager (CPM) will lead or support the operational planning, delivery, oversight and budget management of company and/or externally sponsored research. They may also help coordinate the efforts of extended team members, notably the scientific study leader (epidemiologist for observational studies, Medical Affairs Leader for interventional studies). The CPM may own specific areas or deliverables within a study, or in some cases, assume the accountabilities of a team leader for study delivery. In addition, the CPM will support MEOR’s continuous improvement by developing expertise in a specific area of study delivery, serving as a point of contact for best practice, and contributing to the development and maintenance of guidance documents and training materials.Usually, the CPM’s focus will be on one of the three main types of work as described below. <ul> <li>Support effective collaboration with the scientific/medical counterpart, the Epidemiologist/Medical Affairs Leader (MAL) respectively, as well as other internal cross functional global roles.</li> <li>Coordinate efforts/input of the external scientific community (e.g. (Inter)national Coordinating Investigators, Steering/Executive Committee) during project design and delivery.</li> <li>Perform CRO oversight to help ensure project delivery within time, cost and quality </li> <li>Collaborate with CRO/ESP to ensure the study operational aspects are effectively undertaken and that they have clear remits for delivery.</li> <li>Manage study specific issues and escalations with ESPs/CROs.</li> <li>If leading a study, develop and maintain the overall study budget (internal and external study costs).</li> <li>Ensure transparency over areas of budget responsibility by updating through relevant systems (s.a. In the role of Director, Biostatistics, you will serve as a compound lead statistician for one or more oncology compounds in clinical development and will be responsible for all statistical aspects for the assigned compound's development throughout development phases and regulatory filing activities. You will provide strategic input in collaboration with other functions in identifying an efficient path to advance pipeline compound(s). To be successful in this role, you must have rich experience in new drug development and regulatory interactions, and have solid statistical knowledge from clinical trial design, data analysis, to result interpretation. You must have proven tracking record of solving challenging problems arisen in drug development with novel statistical approaches, has convincing level of scientific publications, and is proficient in explaining statistical approaches to non-statisticians, and is proficient in interpreting and reporting trial results. Responsibilities: * Responsible for all statistical aspects in supporting the assigned compound's clinical development, regulatory submission, and commercialization * Responsible for individual study design (at early or later phase), thought-through Statistical Analysis Plan and its implementation. * Initiate, drive and implement novel statistical methods for trial design and data analysis. * Lead statistical aspects of regulatory filing activities and responsible for delivering scientifically and statistically sound regulatory documents, including but are not limited to those for marketing authorization application. * Contribute to interactions with external review boards/ethics committees, external consultants, and other external parties with statistical expertise. * Represent the Biometrics department in Product Development Team(s) for the assigned compound(s); responsible for seeking and achieving functional alignment and bringing function's input to the multi-functional team. * Collaborate with other line functions effectively and contribute as an integrated member in driving informative decision making. * Explain statistical concepts and interpret study findings in an easily understandable way to non-statisticians, promote statistical thinking, and provide adequate statistical justifications for actions/decisions/statements. * Oversee statistical vendor's deliverables and accountable for timely and high quality delivery of all biostatistics deliverables for the assigned compound(s). * Supervise direct reports to deliver and provide coaching/mentoring to support the growth of the direct report(s). * Contribute to thoughts and actions towards building efficient analysis and reporting processes in G1. * Other duties as assigned Requirements: * PhD (in Statistics/Biostatistics or equivalent) with a minimum 10 years relevant working experience or MS (in Statistics/Biostatistics or equivalent) with a minimum of 15 years relevant working experience. * Oncology clinical trial experience. * Solid knowledge in drug development across phases and updated understanding about health authority guidelines. * Regulatory submission experience is a plus. * Solid knowledge about statistics especially in clinical trial design and data analyses. * Rich experience of applying appropriate statistical methodology in solving real problems and in making drug development to be more efficient and successful. * Demonstrated interests and capacity of continued learning of novel statistical methodology and its application to solve real problems. * Proficiency in use of statistical software packages (e.g. SAS, R). * Demonstrated effectiveness working with multi-functional team members to deliver common goals. * Excellent project management and matrix leadership skills. * Strong communication skills with the ability to create effective collaborations within Biometrics as well as with non-statistical functions.
