Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
The Senior Clinical Office Assistant will serve as an Interpreter for Clinical Services. This position will also be responsible for preparing, maintaining and receiving records, logs and files, scheduling appointments and entering data for the Clinical Services Division.
Primary Responsibilities:
Registration (check patients in and out)
Complete insurance verifications and eligibility
Collect co-payments
Schedule and confirm appointments
Serves as interpreter for clinical services
Explain CHA programs and services to patients and community partners
Education/Experience: High school or equivalent. Bilingual fluency (oral and written) in English and Spanish required. Experience in Microsoft applications such as Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, equipment and office assistance techniques
Knowledge of business English, spelling and arithmetic
Ability to follow and apply policies and procedures
Must be ale to make arithmetic calculations and set up forms/tables
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, associates and the general public
