Responsibilities

Develops the information flow through patient encounters of all types, and communicates these clinical requirements to other Clinical Informatics Department members
Assists the IT Team in developing workflow improvements by data gathering and appropriate analysis and testing
Utilizes the requirements and processes of obtaining complete medical history and physical data from patients to assist in developing a non-obtrusive manner for entry into the computerized medical record
Able to interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures needed in order to test effective application of the software
Monitors proper flow of clinical and demographic data to assure accurate and timely ordering of laboratory and other diagnostic procedures
Understands what instructional information and education should be given to the users in order to utilize the system software tools effectively
Provide functional support, design, training and guidance in physician practice clinical application, during both implementation and on-going support phases
Participates in the on-call and/or clinic rounding rotation duties in support of our users, which includes physicians, support staff, and clinical management
Assists with software function testing as needed to ensure effective use of the system
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Performs other duties as assigned by the lead
Qualifications
Job Requirements
Master's Degree or equivalent business experience in a clinical setting
Three (3) years experience in a physician group, or similar health care area
Experience with training responsibilities
