If you are located in the state of PA, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Pittsburgh, PA preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement applications, tools, and processes that assist clinicians with the management of data in patient care and the provision of health care

  • Maintain changes to referential data, across clinical / financial applications assigned

  • Assist with application implementation and system customization including the development of alerts / hard stops, data

  • integration, order generation, automation of document entry and enforcement of adherence to workflows

  • Provide technical support, diagnosis of application errors and troubleshooting with system issues

  • Interpret, modify, analyze and design clinical/financial systems, data and information

  • Facilitate clinical content team - work with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other health care professionals to evaluate current EMR functionality and develop future applications by building consensus and using efficient decision-making processes

  • Recommend innovative ideas, processes, and / or procedures for enhancements, additions, and modifications to improve existing systems

  • Serve as a resource person for daily operational issues within the electronic health record

  • Work with other members of the team to implement solutions to system related problems to minimize operational impact

  • Review the work of others

  • Develop innovative approaches

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience combined in IT / healthcare

  • Understanding of Medical terminology and workflows

  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • IT experience with system configuration, custom development, maintenance and software upgrades

  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting, however, may be required to work from home temporarily due to space limitations

  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Experienced in one or more of the following: Clinical Systems, Practice Management, and/or Rev Cycle implementations and support

  • Experienced RN or Medical Assistant

  • Experience with Allscripts, Docutap or Athena

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The Senior Territory Business Manager, Neurology is responsible for achieving all territory sales goals through the promotion, sale and support of company products or services in his/her geographic territory. This is an incredible opportunity to join the growing US Immunology Business at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) to support the continued launch of Zeposia in Multiple Sclerosis. The Senior Territory Business Manager (TBM) will cover a defined geography. In this role, you will be part of a diverse team of sales professionals to this important launch for BMS and most notable, for MS patients in need of this important therapeutic option. Travel will be required when deemed safe by the organization. This territory includes Pittsburgh, PA South Accounts include MS Centers of Excellence (COEs), Regional and Community Neurologists. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Understands and applies knowledge of health care industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions, and the managed health care environment into business plans and in daily execution of sales calls within compliance guidelines. * Develops and implements territory plans that properly identify and prioritize activities to accomplish short and long-term business plan goals. * Demonstrates clear and thorough understanding of disease states, BMS products and relevant competitor products, including their mechanisms of action, indications, efficacy, safety, etc. * Collaborates with territory matrix team on identifying opportunities and developing appropriate tactics and strategies. * Fosters team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and information. * Drives market share growth and maximizes sales performance within the indicated use and for the approved patients. * Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with physicians in private practice, medical group practices and or hospitals, office staffs and others in the patient care continuum including but not limited to: * Direct one-to-one communication (in a blended setting of virtual engagements and in-person contact) with physicians and health care professionals in support of approved product indications. * Planning and organizing peer programs in territory. * Communicating competitive market intelligence to brand teams and management. * Timely and accurate completion of all administrative expectations. * Responsible for complying with all federal (PDMA/OIG), state regulations and BMS Policies relative to prescription drug sampling.
