The Client Advocacy Manager will be instrumental in helping our global community of users and their leaders to expand and scale the advocacy program by developing a multi-dimensional portfolio of client/partner advocates, stories and channels that increase market awareness and help articulate our value proposition. The goal of our advocacy program is to expand and scale the voice of our advocates by developing and nurturing how our advocates can tell their story. This role is responsible for cultivating strong relationships with our user community and teams across Cornerstone to identify, procure and nurture client advocates.

Success in this role hinges on understanding the business priorities, sales process, and client perceptions of our company. That Cornerstone community is always willing and able to share how they feel and where they are having success with the Cornerstone system. Lets give them the platform to enable and empower the community supporting the community.

In this role you will

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify potential client advocates to optimize the lead-to-customer conversion rate

  • Secure client advocates and develop plans for engaging clients based on their ability to validate the unique company business value, establishing confidence in our company

  • Coordinate the integration of client advocates in various activities including speaking engagements, case studies, and custom content white papers

  • Identify opportunities to acknowledge and reward client advocates by providing them with co-marketing opportunities, unique industry executive meetings, and a thought leadership platform in a programmatic fashion

  • Enable the program for a global audience with global advocates while factoring the nuisances of varying cultures

  • Develop comprehensive client advocacy plan to amplify success stories across various communication channels

  • Work with Client Marketing and Services team to create, manage and distribute dashboard for leaders on the Advocacy Program pipeline; compile data, analyze trends and articulate learnings and results

  • Work in close cooperation with all other areas of the organization

  • Travel may be expected to participate in regional meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years experience in customer support or marketing

  • 5+ years of experience in reference program management, customer advocacy

  • 5+ years experience in social media/community

  • Experience in high tech, software industry environment

  • Proven track record working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders and managing programs within a team environment

  • Ability to establish positive client relationships with C/VP/Director level customers, and deliver an exceptional client experience including account-based reference acquisition, creation and promotion plans

  • Ability to create written content and provide internal briefings on program

  • Highly organized, data and results driven, detail oriented, and capable of handling several projects simultaneously

You will define and drive product positioning and messaging, create compelling content and sales enablement tools. Key Responsibilities * Produce externally facing content such as customer stories, webinars, datasheets, feature briefs, white papers, web updates, and more * Create compelling and easy to understand internally facing content including playbooks, sales training, competitive positioning, FAQs, pricing guides, and cheat sheets accompanied by strong value proposition, selling techniques, enablement and ensure success by tracking and measuring impact to KPIs. * Optimize the offer strategy for the market(s) including positioning, messaging and packaging of plays to drive sales and customer satisfaction * Lead specific product and service launch activities for the market. * Monitor and report out on the impact of sales plays across the different segments.
