JOB SUMMARY:

This position is assigned to the Department's mailroom at the Capital Center Office Complex campus and is one of the two early morning mail runners. The incumbent will maintain a specific mail route and work with internal and external customers, to track and establish delivery of mail, parcels, and documents. The incumbent should be well informed about mailroom delivery methods, mailbox layout, and must maintain a valid State of Florida Driver's License. The individual must also ensure that the state vehicle assigned for mail delivery has regular preventative maintenance checks and services. Hours for this position are from 6:00am

  • 3:00pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possession of a valid Florida driver's license.

  • Experience planning, organizing and coordinating work activities.

  • Ability to lift items and objects weighing up to 60 pounds, with or without accommodation.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience conducting mail delivery and mailroom responsibilities.

  • Experience driving a van.

  • Experience operating basic office equipment such as a copy machine, computer, and printer.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is located in Tallahassee, FL.

  • Hours for this position are from 6:00am

  • 3:00pm.
  • This position is not eligible for telework.
