Position Purpose: Design, implement, and conduct claims training, including development of lesson plans, manuals, and identifying training needs.
Train, inspire, motivate, and coach class participants and Claims Trainers to obtain desired quality results.
Identify gaps in training and instruct training staff to adopt appropriate measures.
Evaluate effectiveness of training programs, including cost/benefit analyses.
Communicate training progress to management during and after training in a qualitative and efficient manner.
Review, prepare and update materials including documenting/completing appropriate class paperwork and maintaining training aids.
Demonstrate effective presentation skills and excellent customer service skills.
Recommend policies and procedures. Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of training or claim operations experience. Experience with managed care systems. Advanced claims processing and training program development experience preferred.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience creating curriculum and training materials highly preferred.
