This role will provide administration of benefits for Long-Term Care Insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handles incoming calls through the claim toll free lines

  • Provides plan and claim information, assists with submission of claims and makes outbound calls to gather missing information on incomplete claims.

  • Conducts research when needed to resolve customer questions or complaints.

  • Able to appropriately explain varying plan provisions to customers accurately and in a professional manner.

  • Responds to telephone inquiries from insureds regarding specific claim details.

  • Understands processes in entire department to assist callers with questions.

  • Works closely with the claim analysts and care managers to provide a seamless customer experience.

  • Outbound calls and letters to customers and providers to research incomplete claims.

  • Escalates complaints and potential complaints appropriately.

  • Documents calls in computer system.

  • Completes form letters, tasks and and problem solve for resolution of customer issues.

  • Contributes ideas that enhance service quality.

  • Performs project work and other related duties as assigned or required.

Essential Business Experience and

Technical Skills:

Required:

  • High School Diploma.

Preferred:

  • Associate level or higher degree.

  • At least 2 years experience in a direct customer service position preferred.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking in activities requiring analysis, investigation, and/or planning.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Comfortable working with multiple priorities in a changing environment.

  • Ability to prioritize and maintain quality

VIEW JOBS 1/18/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-17T00:00 Position Summary In collaboration with the Senior Vice President, Long-term Post-Acute Sales (SVP-LTPAC) the Director, LTPAC Sales is responsible for leading the LTPAC regional sales executive team through the development and implementation of the company's regional sales & marketing plans for the LTPAC channel. This leader will drive the execution of the strategic sales plan by coaching, directing and leading a team of regionalized sellers as part of national sales team. Development and growth will be achieved by building and maintaining customer relationships with Long-Term Acute Care, In-patient Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted Living organizations, affiliated group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and accountable care organizations (ACOs). This leader will hold primary oversight of field sales executives and own delivery of sales training (product line and selling skills) while ensuring pricing discipline and delivery of expected gross profit and gross margins required to achieve the financial goals of the business, as well as maintain a close working relationship and clear regional sales leadership with the , Marketing, Product and Services Teams. Major Duties & Responsibilities Sales Leadership: * Develop and maintain an effective regional sales organization through selection, training, and incentivizing of all sales team personnel. Create an atmosphere where highly motivated sales representatives can achieve or exceed their sales plans and financial goals. * Facilitate the growth, development and performance of the Regional Sales Executives. * Oversee and monitor the activities of the regional sales team in the field. Lead the team to achieve sales goals, control expenses and implement approved selling / marketing strategies to the appropriate market targets. * Develop and implement sales processes that maximize market coverage and customer responsiveness. * Monitor sales reports for the U.S. territory levels in order to equip the regional sales team with the needed data to maximize impact of sales efforts and to refocus approach to market when indicated. * Implement regional compensation plans to include quotas as defined by the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the SVP of LTPAC Sales. Contribute to the development sales incentive plans as requested. * Manage pricing strategy to drive revenue and profitability. * Establish, monitor, and enforce all regional sales expense budgets and provide reports to the regional sales team as well as the SVP of LTPAC Sales and the CSO. Product Knowledge and Expertise: * Maintain a superior knowledge of the clinical & technical features and benefits of the portfolio and act as a knowledge resource for field sales and customers, presenting information to audiences of varying sizes. Working in conjunction with learning and development and marketing communications, lead the identification of comprehensive tools and informational resources for the regional sales team that creates independence and confidence in customer interactions. * Direct the delivery of product and program knowledge to targeted customers as needed. Business Analysis & Budget Management: * Partner with Finance colleagues to direct analysis of customer sales & profitability. * Participate in the monthly unit and revenue forecasts with the appropriate internal functional partners. * Contribute to the development of the annual sales and expense budget. * Manage the A&P and T&E budgets within corporate parameters. Internal Collaboration: * This role works closely with members of the Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, Service Operations, and Finance organizations to understand broad customer needs and identify, develop, and drive programs and campaigns to give Joerns Healthcare products and services proper positioning and adoption in targeted markets. Required Education Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience Required Skills & Experience * Minimum of five (5) years' experience in sales management in a medical device company. * Experience in building a positive, collaborative culture within a team is required. * Healthcare continuum experience in global setting. * Ability to travel up to 70% of the time. * Strong leadership traits with the ability to build consensus, motivate and deliver results within a team environment. * Experience with supervising, training, developing and selecting sales representatives. * Ability to collect, compile, and analyze data and information in order to create documents such as business plans, operating budgets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. * Excellent written and oral communicator in both large and small group settings. Engaging and dynamic presenter of often complex and/or clinical information to internal and external audiences of various sizes.
