RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Construction Claims Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Perform claims analysis tasks with oversight and direction from the Claims Manager;

  • Support the claims team in the analysis or preparation of a complex construction claims;

  • Market and promote construction claims services, management of projects, financial planning, and control;

  • Establish and maintain professional business relations with clients;

  • Interface effectively with clients, coworkers, and others.

Key Attributes:

  • Knowledge and ability to quickly understand construction contracts, principals of construction and contractor means and methods is required.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications and organizational skills are a must

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture or related degree is required.

  • A minimum of 10 years of construction and/or construction claims experience.

  • Experience in Project Controls, CPM scheduling, delay analysis, productivity analysis, claims and dispute resolution.

  • Experience on large, complex construction projects.

  • Heavy Highway or Building construction experience.

VIEW JOBS 4/13/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-12T00:00 Job Summary: Reporting to the Claims Manager, the Sr. Claims Analyst is responsible for claims processing, maintenance and review of department documents and records, general department activities and special projects. The position will handle the primary oversight of workers compensation claims while also assisting with casualty, auto and property claims throughout North America. Responsibilities: * Manages the day to day coordination of workers compensation claims including claim reporting, processing, research, and liaison with employees, Human Resources, company management, claims administrators, state agencies, unions and other third parties * Assists in the claim reporting, processing and documentation for claims * Assists in the evaluation of claim reserves and settlement requests, providing support information and recommendations to management for authorization decisions * Prepares monthly and quarterly Risk Management status reports as well as ad hoc loss runs and other claim data analyses from the TPA's system, company information and other sources * Tracks and processes department expenses, invoices and other transactions * Assists with policy management and the collection/compilation of renewal data * Responds to risk and insurance service requests from business units and third parties * Supports Risk Management in department-related projects as requested Qualifications: * Minimum 5 years' experience in a large, multi-location corporation, with at least 2 years' experience in a Risk Management department * Claims experience with emphasis on workers compensation management required and a fundamental understanding of handling casualty, auto and property claims * Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks with varying deadlines * Excellent oral and written communications skills * Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint required * Proficiency in commonly used claims information data base systems a plus * Experience in entertainment, sports or other event businesses preferred * Bachelor's degree * Workers Compensation Claims Administration Certified (or designation in-process) preferred Live Nation, INC Los Angeles CA
