We are looking for a Trusts & Estates Tax Senior to join our Tax Department in our New York office. As a T&E Tax Senior, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns, extensions, and projections for returns primarily with complex federal and state individual and fiduciary tax returns, gift tax returns and Estate tax returns

• Prepare and review estate and high net worth consulting engagements

• Manage Estate administration.

• Prepare and Review fiduciary accountings

• Knowledge of Federal and State tax law

• Perform tax research to resolve issues

• Maintain frequent contact with client and handle day-to-day client relationship issues

• Build relationships with clients and staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation preferred

• 5+ years of professional experience, in a public accounting firm with Trust & estate experience

• CPA or (in progress) preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Must have excellent client service skills

• Highly motivated

• Responsive to clients

• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills

• Knowledge of CCH Axcess and Go File Room is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

For positions in New York City, the salary range is $85,000 -- $115,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
