Our responsibilities include analysis & modelling of molecular structure data, analysis of complex high-dimensional biological datasets (bioinformatics and genomics), AI/ML applications in process/product development, Chemometrics and analysis of spectral data generated by a vast array of instruments, as well as modelling of production processes. Within CADS, the CMC Chemometrics Delivery team scope is to develop proof of concepts to production-ready data science products combining recent advances in the Chemometrics domain (Spectroscopy, chromatography, time series, …) with top of research and industry software development standards.

As a Senior Chemometrics Engineer within CMC Chemometrics Delivery, you will be part of a cross-functional team solving various challenging tasks with the aim of pushing the boundaries of GSK capabilities. You will talk directly with scientists in the labs to understand their needs but you'll be involved as well in strategic decisions with leadership teams. You will be one of the reference people within the team to maintain Chemometrics pipelines and improve the best practices related to Chemometrics software development. Finally, you will work closely with experts in data management, scientific software engineering, automation, statistics or other fields of data science to turn each project into business impact.

Your responsibilities:

  • You deliver end to end data science projects in all relevant areas, esp. spectra, hyperspectral and chromatograms processing, models building and their deployment in the context of biological processes, high-dimensional data analysis and Process Analytical technology (PAT).
