Position Specific Description

In this position you will be responsible for building and maintaining successful high-level relationships with key accounts within the Sarasota territory, as well as providing on-going training and support to those accounts. This position will inherit multiple key accounts, however the ideal candidate will constantly identify new ways to introduce FPLES products and services to customers both inside and outside our service territory. Job Overview

Employees in this position are responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities within a specific territory as well as managing existing business to business partner accounts. Employees in this role support Channel Partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Builds strong relationships with partners and sub-agents to maintain and expand our database of prospects and customers within your assigned territory including on-boarding of new partners, reporting and training

  • Researches accounts, additional locations and identifies additional opportunities for sites too far from network to help win current opportunities

  • Works with Channel lead to identify new partners and sub-agents, supporting all channel events

  • Supports Channel Partners in selling company products, focusing on qualifying, quoting, and closing business

  • Teams with Channel Partners to build, review and forecast sales

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED

  • Experience: 5+ years

  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Equivalent Experience

This position is responsible for supporting the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams paint store, servicing wholesale and retail customers. It will assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services. This involves ensuring that sales transactions are completed accurately, maintaining accurate work order files and formulas, pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tinting and mixing them to customer specifications. This position will also stock shelves and set up displays, clean store equipment, and load and unload trucks. It may also assist in making deliveries if necessary. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be at least 18 years of age. * Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status. * Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. * Must be able to tint paint, therefore, must be able to distinguish the difference between colors. * Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone. * High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Prior experience in a sales or customer service position. * Customer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaints. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * A valid driver's license.
