The Senior Channel Delivery Manager is a critical role responsible for developing and managing strategic roadmaps to support business objectives. This position is responsible for all aspects of the assigned channel including but not limited to expense management, channel optimization, production and evaluation of trends and recommendations to leadership to enhance channel value.

This position requires a knowledge of technology and an ability to lead cross functional teams to deliver upon the strategic roadmap to support channel adoption, client experience and operational efficiencies. This position is also responsible for partnering effectively with other areas to create marketing plans that drive incremental volume to the assigned channel. Managing vendor evaluations and vendor relationships is a necessary function.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for building business cases, which include initial cost/benefit analysis and pricing analysis to assess feasibility of implementing new technology or processes. Responsible for vendor analysis, comparison and selection.

    Completes analysis and financial modeling for financial planning in a largely autonomous manner. Regularly conducts industry analysis, research and channel observation. Tracks and reports product performance and progress including a review of reports to ensure long-term success.

    Responsible for producing and distributing periodic dashboards for assigned channels in an efficient manner. May perform ad hoc analysis as requested. Performs analysis and communication of regulatory changes in order to ensure compliance; executes strategies and tactics accordingly. Assist with vendor management activities as necessary.

  • Responsible for developing and managing the channel roadmap by partnering with key business partners to align resources with the most critical and valuable efforts to drive business value. Operate in an autonomous manner in the execution of the roadmap, while being skilled in understanding necessary escalation points.

    Lead discussion among a diverse set of stakeholders to help establish priority of need for defects, enhancements and strategies in accordance with business need. Communicate roadmap progress and changes, on a recurring basis, to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Develops strategic vision and direction for assigned channels. Ensures strategies remain in alignment with business goals over time.

    Leads, directly or indirectly, large diverse teams to deliver upon initiatives. Informs key stakeholders of project status, key decisions and project concerns. Proactively assist project teams by removing roadblocks, making decisions and ensuring the project stays on time, within budget and within scope.

  • Leads operational design and efficiency improvement efforts in a largely autonomous manner. Partners with IT and key stakeholders to ensure strong business requirements are created. Collaborates with supporting business areas to understand their respective units.

  • Responsible for constructing effective launch plans without meaningful oversight from leadership.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Analytical and organizational skills, with strong aptitude to collect and analyze information and make appropriate recommendations to senior leaders in a timely fashion

  • Knowledge of project management, resource management practices and change management techniques

  • Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that persuades others and gains understanding

  • Communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, including the ability to foster/manage relationships across multiple departments and affiliates in all states

  • Experience with managing or supporting channel process improvement and technology implementations
